Yearly reminder that the NC PTA has evolved into a left-wing advocacy group

The unfortunate decline of PTA in our schools appears to have coincided with the organization’s hard left turn.

In fact, the NC PTA legislative agenda is indistinguishable from the priorities of groups like the NC Association of Educators and Public Schools First NC.  For example, the NC PTA opposes school choice and wants taxpayers to dump billions more into failing public schools.  On the local level, PTA chapters in Wake County actively oppose charter schools.
