The NC Department of Public Instruction released the preliminary second-month average daily membership (ADM) figures.  Overall, statewide public school ADM dropped by over 27,000 students in the second month of school.

Guilford County Schools (+9,431). Wake County Schools (+1,284), and Cumberland County Schools (+1,136) added the largest number of students.  Rowan-Salisbury Schools (-2,326) and New Hanover County Schools (-121) had the largest ADM decreases.
