A new report ranks the states according to craft breweries per capita. North Carolina ranks 16th in the nation. But in the Southeast, North Carolina edges out Virginia for first place.
According to the report, North Carolina has 3.4 breweries per 100,000 adults of legal drinking age.
This is before we see the positive impacts of HB 363, which greatly expanded North Carolina craft breweries’ freedom to self-distribute.
