KFF: 78 percent of Medicaid expansion population are childless adults

Many educators believe that Medicaid expansion would benefit adults who have children in public schools.  According to the Kaiser Family Foundation, 78 percent of the population that would be eligible to receive Medicaid, if expanded, are childless adults.
