Test scores mostly flat

Today, the N.C. Department of Public Instruction released the 2017-18 accountability results.  Statewide reading and math performance is flat.  Math scores increased in grades 7 and 8, while third-grade reading proficiency dropped by nearly two percentage points over the last year.

 

 

 

 

 

 

In addition, the statewide 4-year graduation rate was 86.3 percent last year, which is a slight drop from the year before.
