As North Carolinians rushed to meet this week’s tax filing deadline, no doubt many wondered where their money is going. We decided to make it easy to understand how their hard-earned money is being spent. John Locke Foundation Senior Fellow Joe Coletti tells us North Carolinians pay an average of $2,500 in personal income tax. The numbers in the graphic are based on $2,500.
