It’s always a fun evening when you can host two former presidents — Thomas Jefferson and John Adams. We had a great time at the North Carolina Museum of History. Here’s what you missed, as reported by our friends and co-hosts at the Spring Hope Enterprise. (photo courtesy of the newspaper).

Presidents Thomas Jefferson and John Adams emerged from the rear of the museum auditorium for a 90-minute debate before more than 250 people that was moderated by Spring Hope Enterprise editor-publisher Ken Ripley.

The debates, hosted annually by The John Locke Foundation in Raleigh and during the day by the Spring Hope Enterprise at Southern Nash and Northern Nash high schools and this year at Nash Correctional Institution, feature historical character interpreters from Colonial Williamsburg.
