A unanimous three-judge panel has ruled in favor of a solar farm developer in its dispute against Robeson County. Appellate judges agreed that Robeson County commissioners should not have rejected a proposed 40-acre solar farm in a portion of the county zoned for residential agricultural uses.
The Appeals Court opinion reverses a trial court, which had ruled in favor of county commissioners.
