“They say there’s equitable treatment but there obviously isn’t.”

JLF's Becki Gray weighs in with the Charlotte Observer on the fight for economic freedom being waged by craft brewers.

The policy and legal battle over regulations impacting craft brewers is the subject of this recent Charlotte Observer story.

Becki Gray, a senior vice president of the John Locke Foundation, a Raleigh-based conservative group that supports the craft brewers, said the Anheuser-Busch franchise agreement shows “that rhetoric that we heard from the wholesalers that they’re going to treat everybody the same is not necessarily true.”

“They say there’s equitable treatment,” she said, “but there obviously isn’t.”
