Fourteen members of the NC Association of Educators’ Organize 2020 caucus kicked off their summer vacation by getting arrested for assembling in the middle of a Raleigh intersection to protest, among other things, a 10.3 percent increase in teacher salaries funded using part of the $775 million increase in K-12 education dollars since 2013.
