Words of wisdom from Richard Sherman

It’s not often I agree with anything Richard Sherman says.  Or does.  To say I’m not a Richard Sherman fan is to dramatically understate the fact.  But last week he said something that I actually really loved.  From Reason’s Hit & Run blog :

When Clayton asked Sherman what he would do if he were president, the Pro Bowler replied:

I’d stop spending billions of taxpayer dollars on stadiums and probably get us out of debt and maybe make the billionaires who actually benefit from the stadiums pay for them. That kind of seems like a system that would work for me.

I’ve written about this issue a couple times this year.  I’m glad to see that Richard Sherman and I agree.
