Hold on to your hats! This is exciting! The Appalachian District Health Department is about to launch a new brand and logo. The new slogan, of all the words in all the languages, is “Caring for Community”! The logo shows a stethoscope, a leaky faucet, an apple, and a freemasonry logo formed by two androgynous adults and a child. It will take an estimated nine months to phase-in the new letterhead and upgrade the signs and online presence. It is assumed the rebranding is designed to attract customers who may suppose they’re getting by just fine outside the system. According to Deputy Health Director Jennifer Greene:

We believe this provides us an opportunity to better explain what services we provide our communities.
