I just visited a web site, that seemed very good except it had something a little fishy. It asked us to take a survey, and then it would match us with the candidate whose views are most similar. The thought of a black box making choices for me was creepy, but the temptation was too great. I had to try it. . . .

. . . And, as you might expect, the result was creepily wrong.

The moral of the story is, we need to do our own homework and make our own choices. I know the return on one, stinkin’ vote is minuscule; but that it could multiply through preferably above-board pre-election influence. But, with all the redefinitions of “lie” and out-of-control PACs working for the other guy this political season, I beg you and your friends to work hard to find the folks that sit best with your conscience.
