Prosecutors along with state officials are still expressing their frustration over long wait times for lab results from the North Carolina State Crime Lab in Raleigh.
“Sometimes we wait two years or longer, sometimes it’s less than a year,” said 30th Judicial District Attorney Ashley Welch. “It’s frustrating.”
