Remember the Blueprint NC controversy, in which the head of a network of liberal organizations sent a memo using violent language and suggesting down-and-dirty tactics against Republicans in the legislature and Governor McCrory?
Well, the spirit of Blueprint NC is alive and well among the state’s university faculty. A new organization called Faculty for a Progressive North Carolina is partnering with Blueprint member N.C. Justice Center to attack Republicans. The first meeting featured language similar (and worse) to that used in the infamous Blueprint memo, and some of the actions by UNC system professors are potentially out of bounds for their positions.
