I’m a “community credential” holder for President Barack Obama’s Thursday night acceptance speech that was to be held at Bank of America Stadium. I’ve received multiple phone calls on my voice mail asking me to confirm my attendance.

I was told when I picked up my credential in Raleigh to make sure I arrived early.

Now, that’s all for naught.

The Weather Channel forecasts isolated thunderstorms with a 30 percent chance of rain Thursday night. During Thursday afternoon, there’s a 40 percent chance of thunderstorms.

The official news release from the DNC committee says that Obama will speak to community credential holders in a national conference call Thursday afternoon. We’re supposed to get an email about those details.
