A unanimous three-judge panel of the N.C. Court of Appeals has reversed a trial court and ruled in favor of StubHub in a dispute over the company’s involvement in the scalping of four tickets to a 2007 Miley Cirus/Hannah Montana concert at the Greensboro Coliseum.

In other opinions released this morning:

  • A unanimous three-judge panel ruled against convicted murderer Samuel James Cooper, who attempted to have five 2010 Wake County murder convictions thrown out. Cooper had contended that police had coerced his confessions to the murders by threatening to arrest his father.
  • A unanimous three-judge panel reversed a trial court and ruled against Boone in a dispute over denial of a special-use permit for a medical clinic.
