Someone brought this video up on the paleoconservative thread of Reddit.com over the weekend, and it gives a humorous look at Pat Buchanan’s take on the presidency. Despite the bizarre nature of the interview, Buchanan plays along and is remarkably frank.
Asked about what he would do as president, he had this to say:
“I would change the whole country dramatically, and that’s why I’m not going to be president.”
Touché, Pat. Unfortunately, since this interview in 2004 the shift away from a paleoconservative America has accelerated in pace.
