As a courtesy to Locker Room readers, I checked the North Carolina Public Schools Application System (NCPSAS) this morning. The website lists 644 traditional public school jobs, including approximately 260 open teaching positions.
Among large districts that do not use the NCPSAS, Wake County Schools has 111 teaching positions available, and the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools has just under 200 teaching positions listed on their online job board.
