The sixth year of a U.S. Supreme Court under Chief Justice John Roberts featured a relatively small number of decisions, but some of those decisions could have major impacts on American law in the years ahead.

Attorney Gregory Katsas, a former Bush administration Justice Department official, recapped the 2010-11 Supreme Court term today during a presentation to the Triangle Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society and the John Locke Foundation. In the video clip below, Katsas discusses one major theme from the term: consistent support for First Amendment rights.
