Today, NC Policy Watch references my Daily Journal article. The article explained how the loss of federal stimulus and EduJobs funds may force school districts to lay off personnel. My critic says,
Now the hypocritical part. Republican Senator Jerry Tillman said this week on the Senate floor that no teachers will lose their jobs because of the Senate budget. Stoops and other right-wing think tankers have been saying for weeks that all the talk of teacher layoffs is nonsense.
That’s weird. I didn’t mention the Senate budget in my piece because, well, it specifically addressed Obama’s education policies.
By changing the subject, my critic skirts the issue at hand. Don’t be fooled or confused by this trick, dear reader.
