Dome notes that Gov. Bev Perdue has named Angel Combs to be finance director for her yet-to-be-announced 2012 re-election campaign. Among Combs’ 2010 clients was former N.Y. Rep. John Hall, who lost his bid for a [correction] third term. Hall may be best known as the guitarist, songwriter, and sometime lead vocalist for the ’70s pop band Orleans. Try not to let the hairstyles alarm you.
Full disclosure: I saw Hall and his band open for Little Feat at Elon College in 1978. It was a wonderful show.
