The House Committee on Energy and Energy Efficiency passed the Senate’s version of the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Portfolio Standard this afternoon without making any changes. A few amendments were proposed, but were all voted down. See my narrative over at environmentnc.com.
The bill basically amounts to a transfer of wealth from electricity
customers to the special interests who crafted the bill for their own
benefit.
