Out in Western North Carolina, the county with the most photographed Courthouse in the state, Jackson County will vote in 9 days
on a piece of policy that will strip the basic rights of personal
property away from its citizens. Jackson County commissioners are as it
stands now 4 to 1 AGAINST protecting private property rights.
According to the Smoky Mountain News’ article
from last week Realtors in surrounding counties are glad to hear that
Commissioners are working so hard to end growth in Jackson
County. The economic reasoning is simple, the land market will be
cheaper in the surrounding counties in Western North Carolina and HIGHER in Jackson County.
