Today’s Journal editorial makes an interesting point: the new state minimum wage will encourage teenagers to smoke:

But with gasoline prices coming down, and a higher minimum wage going into effect, teenagers will see their disposable income rise. That’s more money to spend on cigarettes, even with the now higher taxes.

Of course, that’s not the point of the editorial. The point is cigrarette taxes should be raised even higher.
