Two members of the Greensboro Zoning Commission actually voted to rezone Greensboro College’s land in the Warnersville community.

If you remember correctly, GC wasn’t asking for the land to be rezoned. Warnersville residents were.

Next stop, City Council on Dec. 5. The request certainly will be turned down there, too, but not unanimously. It will be interesting to see which council members vote ‘yes’.

I find it interesting that GC says it will sell the land in the unlikely event it is rezoned. How about a lawsuit to prevent the rezoning? Things are a little slow down at city hall these days. A lawsuit would really shake things up.
