Rockingham County Schools Superintendent Rodney Shotwell has been cleared of sexual harassment charges– in Georgia.

Tamara Tisdale, a former Macon County Schools employee, accused Shotwell of sexual harassment in February. Shotwell resigned from his post as superintendent in Macon shortly before accepting the position in Rockingham County in May.

According to reports posted on highlandnews.com, Tisdale has since been dismissed from her position. In its resolution to dismiss Tisdale, the Macon School Board cited that she attempted to extort Shotwell by threatening to go public with their sexual relationship if she was not promoted to second in command as the assistant superintendent. The school board has since decided that sexual relationship between Shotwell and Tisdale was consensual and was not sexual harassment, according to the Macon County News.

When will public officials learn that sex in the workplace is never a good idea. They’re better off hiring prostitutes. Wait a minute, that’s not a good idea, either……They might as well look at porn on the Internet….No, um…..
