The Winston-Salem Journal makes its endorsements for WSFCS school board.

The Journal also shows its distaste for WSFCS’ partisan schooloard with its endorsement of Sandra Mikush,
whose innovative ideas for improving the schools are matched by her long involvement in them. Her run as an unaffiliated candidate underscores both her energy and her savvy. She got well over the 7,381 petition signatures required to run as an unaffiliated candidate. And in the process, she ought to have raised awareness of the need for officials here to consider making the school board nonpartisan.
Say what you will about the partisan board, but they got the schools built on time.
