Got too involved in editing tasks this afternoon to blog the certified results in the 10th Congressional District nomination. State Rep. Patrick McHenry has been officially certified as the winner of the GOP nomination, having actually gained three votes when provisionals and other previously uncounted ballots were factored in. That made it 15,003 to 14,917, or an 86-vote win for McHenry.

Congratulations to an up-and-coming conservative who worked hard and campaigned creatively to overcome a variety of serious obstacles (financial and geographical, for starters). Give me McLiberty or give me Mcdeath!
