At the opening of this evening’s address by Senator Kerry he referred to the novelist who wrote that you can never go home. Of course, like you, I assumed it was a deft reference to the home state of his number two. Thomas Wolfe and his ties to the Ashville area are well-known. But something nagged…and like any good blogger…I went straight to Amazon for a quick search. And there it is: Dyan Sheldon — author of “Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen — wrote a novel called, “You Can Never Go Home Again”. So, which novelist did he have in mind?
