The Chronicle of Higher Education (subscriber site) reports today the UNC-Chapel Hill has already raised $1.25 billion in its campaign to raise $1.8 billion by 2007. In May alone UNC-CH raised $20 million.
That’s not to say that times aren’t really tough over there where everyone’s been forced into a spartan existence.
