Religious extremists at UNC urged to take action on Moore film

The following dispatch was sent out on the “Progressive” listserv for UNC-Chapel Hill’s bevy of socialist faculty and students. The subject line is in the original:

I went to see F 9/11 yesterday and it is a fabulous film. There is a huge opportunity to invite new members into the peace and justice movement at the screenings. It may take a while for it to sink in, but I’m sure that a large number of people will feel they must take action after they see this film. The screening was sold out in Raleigh and it got a huge ovation at the end.

Neesha Mirchandani, by the way, is somewhat of an artist herself. Here’s her memorable and moving and not at all whacked-out poem to mark the occasion of Memorial Day as only a leftist in America can. It was delivered before the North Carolina State Capitol building.
