Roy, when I read Prof. Caton’s conclusion that “we may just slowly boil to death,” it reminded me of the fable of Chicken Little. How easy it is to panic people into heedlessly seeking government for safety from an imaginary threat that they run right smack into the jaws of a real one!
The true lesson of Chicken Little is, of course, that all that’s required to start a panic is just one nut.
