Morning polling in the Hawkeye State shows dramatic improvement for Sens. John Kerry and John Edwards.

Zogby says Kerry is tied with Rep. Richard Gephardt for second, and Edwards is in third place.

The Washington Post’s Terry Neal writes:

“To some extent, polls can reinforce voter behavior as well. For instance, someone who liked Edwards, might have concluded a few weeks ago when his support was in single digits that a vote for him would be a wasted vote. Now that he’s up to 15 percent — a magical tipping point number in the Iowa caucus system — and in striking distance of the front-runners, perhaps it would not be a wasted vote.”
