From today’s Chronicle of Higher Education online:

———-
An adjunct professor at the University of Cincinnati was arrested on Tuesday after police officers found on his personal computer what they described as hundreds of images and several videos depicting children, some as young as infants, engaged in sexual activity.

Michael J. Luebbe, 49, an assistant adjunct professor of music history at the university’s College-Conservatory of Music, was indicted on Tuesday on 28 counts of pandering sexually oriented material involving a juvenile, a felony. If convicted, Mr. Luebbe could face jail time of two to eight years per charge.

Here’s another case of a poor prof simply being in the wrong discipline. He should have joined his colleagues in Sexuality Studies ? where this kind of activity is expected, and not just on his PC, but in his classroom as well.
