NCAE a one stop shop for WRAL reporters

You have to hand it to the folks at WRAL.  They have spunk. After the release of Governor McCrory’s budget proposal, WRAL reporters ran over to the North Carolina Association of Educators (NCAE) office for a response.  It’s not surprising that they interviewed Rodney Ellis, president of the NCAE.  But they also interviewed Rena Sutton. Continue Reading

Shameless Diane Ravitch: Newtown teachers belonged to a union, had tenure

Education pundit Diane Ravitch does her best to exploit the Newtown shootings to advance her own political agenda.  And, no, we are not talking about a gun control agenda.  In a blog post, Ravitch writes, Every one of the [Sandy Hook] teachers was a career educator. The hysteria over this case is absurd.  The N &Continue Reading
