I heard on the radio this morning a quote from Obama’s speech in Asheville yesterday where he told the crowd that they weren’t being represented in Washington these days. Greed is making lots of money by providing goods and services that other people want. Altruism is the desire to coercively transfer what the greedy have received to to those who have provided nothing that other people want. If it happens to be oneself, all the better.

Focus strictly on the 9% sales tax as regressive and a tax increase without ever mentioning that the plan would eliminate the the Social Security and Medicare taxes which is progressive and a tax cut.
