U.S. Department of Education: Spending and Staffing

Below are two instructive graphs published by the Heritage Foundation.  President Trump’s budget would cut discretionary spending at the U.S. Department of Education after decades of steady growth.  Interestingly, staffing levels have remained relatively constant since 1980.
