Teachers in the Los Angeles Unified School District will participate in a “walk-in” today because they are scared of competition from charter schools and want more money.
According to one active member, the North Carolina Association of Educators has scheduled a statewide “walk-in” on April 27 for largely the same reasons.
Apparently, a “walk-out” sends the wrong message.
