1. Regardless of whether the Panthers win or lose the big game on Sunday, ticket prices will go up next year.

2. In the wake of the Carolina Panthers’ success this year, the issue of a long-term stadium deal will come up again soon. The Panthers, not the city, owns the stadium the team plays in. That though hasn’t kept Charlotte powers-that-be from worrying about the team possibly leaving town. Yes, that’s less likely now that the Rams are moving back to Los Angeles and the Chargers or Raiders may follow, but those Uptown fears have never been very rational. So expect a new push from Charlotte power brokers and/or the Panthers for some sort of deal to tie the team to Charlotte in exchange for a lot of public money.

3. And, oh, Panthers 31, Bronco 14. Keep pounding!
