Donald Trump, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, and Chris Christie could be the most likely Republican presidential candidates to emerge with momentum from the upcoming New Hampshire primary. That’s the assessment of Weekly Standard Executive Editor Fred Barnes, who shared his insights about the 2016 elections for a John Locke Foundation Headliner audience.

Barnes also shared key themes from his new biography of former congressman and supply-side tax champion Jack Kemp, explained new U.S. House Speaker Paul Ryan’s ties to Kemp’s legacy, and discussed the debate over admitting Syrian refugees to the United States in the wake of the Paris terrorist bombing.

In the video clip below, Barnes focuses on the Democratic presidential candidates and their unwillingness to talk about economic growth.
