According to a NC House press release from today, Paul Coble is the new Legislative Services Officer for the NC General Assembly.  Below is the entire press release:

Raleigh, N.C. – Today Speaker Tim Moore (R-Cleveland) and Senate President Pro Tempore Phil Berger (R-Rockingham) announced the hire of Paul Y. Coble as Legislative Services Officer (LSO) for the North Carolina General Assembly. The LSO is tasked with managing the legislature’s day-to-day operations.

Coble, a native of Raleigh, graduated from Broughton High School, earned his BS in Business Administration from Wake Forest University and operated a successful insurance business for over 34 years. Coble has served on both the Raleigh City Council and as Chairman of the Wake County Commission. He was elected and served a term as Mayor of Raleigh in 1999, and has served on the WakeMed Hospital Board of Directors, the 200 Club of Wake County Board of Directors and as Chairman of the CIAA Basketball Tournament Steering Committee. He currently resides in Raleigh with his wife Connie, and has two grown daughters, Courtney and Paige.
