Last month, TelOpinion Research conducted a poll on behalf of Renew NC, a 501(c)(4) group that supports Governor McCrory’s policy agenda. The Republican pollster asked 1,000 North Carolina voters to share their opinions on a variety of issues.
The questions addressing support for a proposed statewide infrastructure bond were very informative, but one question was ridiculous.
That’s right. Around 97 percent of respondents said that it was somewhat, very, or extremely important that “North Carolina provides a high quality of education at every level from K-12, community colleges, and four-year universities.”
Thanks to this poll, we now know that the vast majority of North Carolinians think education is important.
