A unanimous three-judge panel of the N.C. Court of Appeals has ruled that an SBI forensic firearms examiner can proceed with her libel suit against the News & Observer and reporter Mandy Locke in connection with 2010 newspaper coverage.
Among other opinions released this morning:
- A unanimous three-judge panel dismissed as moot an appeal arising from a long-running feud between the Rutherford Electric Membership Corporation and a corporate property owner fighting Rutherford’s plans to build a power line on its property.
