In this Capital Research Center post, Steven Allen points out that there are serious problems with the idea of voting by mail. Privacy may be obliterated and it becomes easier for those intent on casting ballots they aren’t entitled to to obtain them. Also, if you want to bribe a voter, a mail-in ballot can be marked in front of the person giving the bribe so he knows he got his money’s worth.
Instead of moving toward an honest election system, we’re moving in the opposite direction.
