University of Chicago professor Casey Mulligan points out here that Obamacare (or the “Affordable Care Act” if you need to snicker) has adverse consequences for some groups of workers — groups in which women predominate. Senator Kay Hagan could have been a profile in courage, said to the Democratic establishment frantically pushing Obamacare, “We need to take the time to study its effects.” Of course, no Democrat in the Senate did.
Hey, Kay, why not take a bit of time to apologize to all the North Carolinians, perhaps a majority of them women, who have been harmed by the bill you did not stop?
