Three-part N&R investigation into the Interactive Resource Center, Greensboro’s homeless day shelter.

“Clients” are making allegations that assistant executive director and job coordinator Will Howard subjects them to “mistreatment, discrimination and harassment,” including allegations of sexual harassment. Adding to the intrigue is the fact that IRC director Liz Seymour –Gboro’s most vocal homeless advocate — is supporting Howard:

Seymour said she doesn’t know why Howard has become a “lightning rod” for criticism of the IRC.

“I really don’t understand why there’s so much animosity toward Will,” Seymour said. “You don’t know all the people Will Howard has helped.”

Stay tuned –the City Council’s reaction will be interesting.
