Rhino reports Guilford County Commissioner Bruce Davis is appealing to the state Board of Elections the county’s BOE ruling that there were no irregularities in his loss to opponent Laura Fjeld in Democratic primary for the 6th District Congressional seat.

Davis has a host of reasons why his loss to Fjeld —especially in Guilford County—“defies credulity,” including the possibility that a “person with a Palm Pilot” hacked the election machines, never mind the fact that the machines do not have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or other wireless communication capabilities.

But Davis’ main beef is his initial protest wasn’t given a fair hearing by Guilford’s elections board, which did not take an appropriate amount of time to consider his claims.
