Theodore Dalrymple on Piketty’s book

He calls it “Piketty’s Garden of Envy” in this review. Right — all that the book does is to provide a smokescreen of intellectual cover for the large and growing percentage of the population who want to use government power to satisfy their enviousness at the greater success of others.

Money quote: “Bill Gates’ fortune harms me only if I let the acid of envy and resentment etch itself on my mind.”
