The Freeman reprints today a classic article by Professor Williams on the decline of the rule of law. Since he wrote it back in 2009, the rule of law has eroded much faster than anyone would have expected owing to the arrogant disrespect for legal limits on his power shown by Barack Obama.
It is no coincidence that in the just published Index of Economic Freedom, the US has again fallen, now to 12th.
